Feyre survived Amarantha’s clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can’t forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.Image result for add to goodreads

INITIAL THOUGHTS: This book is so thick but I’m still excited to dive into this book after I just finished A Court of Thorns and Roses (review link here). I expect this book to be beyond marvelous. I just hope it won’t disappoint! Omg Rhysand trash here! But I still ship Tamlin and Feyre (because Rhysand or Lucien is mine) but people say that that’s gonna change. NOOOOO!

THOUGHTS: WHY. ARE. YOU. NOT. READING. THIS. BOOK. YET. This book was a whirlwind of emotions.  And I’m hoping this review stays spoiler-free until the end because the feels are just too strong. This book is the best book I’ve ever read this 2016 and I regret nothing. By far the best retelling ever told too. It’s so hard writing this review while keeping my blood pressure under control. Let me just tell you this, SARAH FUGGING J. MAAS IS QUEEN. The way she writes is so exquisite. There was never a dull moment or an infodump in the story. JUST PURE MAGIC!
So, where do I even start? Let’s talk about the characters. SO MUCH CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT! It’s amazing how fluid the author could make you love or hate a character (not gonna go into detail bc spoilers may randomly appear). Feyre became a better warrior. She got stronge (*cough cough*) and wiser. Velaris is beautiful. The world-building got more intricate and detailed. Yes, it did start off slow but that was a very vital part so we could emphathize with Feyre and what she experienced under the mountain. There also non-G rated scenes here and there but if you skip it it’s totally fine (those sensitive Illyrian wings).
Okay, the ending killed me. IT WAS A CLIFFHANGER AND I HATED IT SO MUCH. I almost cried for wanting the next book so badly. IT WAS SO GOOD. SOOOOOOO GOOD. I CAN’T EVEN COMPREHEND HOW SOMEONE CREATES SUCH A MASTERPIECE (I’m going crazy on this part).

FINAL THOUGHTS: THIS BOOK IS EVERYTHING! I DON’T CARE WHAT GENRE YOU LIKE BUT IF YOU’RE 15 AND UP, READ THIS BOOK RIGHT NOW. And with that said, you can conclude that this book is utterly awesome and you deserve this. *dies from happiness*

Shun me now but I’m giving this thing a perfect grade. THIS IS JUST AHSHSDHSHDAHFSDJFD (speechless). It just deserves every recognition in the world like even those not book related one like The Oscars. MY GODNESS, I FEEL SO ALIVE. My review on ACOTAR, just click the word.
